Public Lecture and Workshop - October 19 and 20
The Council of Canadians PEI is sponsoring a public lecture on Friday October 19th at 7 pm and a workshop on Saturday October 20th (10am-3:30pm) on Reconciling Differences.
The Council of Canadians, PEI Chapter is sponsoring a public lecture on Friday evening October 19th (7-8:30pm) and a daytime workshop on Saturday October 20th (10am-3:30pm) on Reconciling Differences. They will be presented by renowned global peace activist Paul Hutchinson from Northern Ireland. He has worked with groups at all levels from International, National, Corporations, Institutions, Organizations to Individuals in an effort to rectify animosities with the hope of establishing steadfast peace. Two such examples are as follows:
1) working with Palestinians and Israelis to find sustainable peace
2) engaging with various organizations and institutions in his homeland to defend and expand authentic and long lasting reconciliation in the years following the Peace Agreement of 1998 that ended Northern Ireland’s Thirty Years of Civil War a.k.a. The Troubles
Paul Hutchinson’s lecture and workshop are being held in the Community Hall of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Stratford.

Please note that there are two free seats available for the Workshop for young people interested in conflict resolutions but are financially unable to attend.
