Tuesday, December 6, 2016

A new Guide for migrant workers living and working in PEI has been produced by Cooper Institute. This guide serves as a plain-language introduction to the laws and policies affecting migrant workers in PEI.

Since the fall of 2010 Cooper Institute has been working to build knowledge about the issues surrounding the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Program in PEI. Cooper Institute continues to engage in the work of research, national networking, and community engagement and education related to the impacts of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and the barriers to human rights faced by the migrant workers themselves.

A new Guide for migrant workers living and working in PEI is now available. This guide serves as a plain-language introduction to the laws and policies affecting migrant workers in PEI. The document is available for download online, and will be updated as changes are made to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
